Commercial Vehicles and Heavy Equipment

Our first glass company,  ‘Rob’s Quality Glass’,  In Globe,  Arizona,  was opened at the long distance request of the heavy equipment shop at the mines of the Inspiration Consolidated Copper Company because there local glass service was not able to fulfill their needs.  We developed a thorough understanding of the urgency and timeliness inherent in equipment repairs,  and that there is rarely a convenient time for a lengthy shutdown.

In the interest of maximizing our service level to the Inspiration mines,  as well as Pinto Valley and numerous subsequent mines that came to view us as part of their team,  we maintained a collection of patterns with corresponding records,  so that by merely providing us with a unit number and which specific opening needed reglazing,  we could arrive on their job site fully prepared to minimize their down time.  Anything that was frequently damaged,  like their smelter loaders,  we kept glass cut and ready to go.

In addition,  our policy then,  as it is today,  is that when you need it is when you will get it.  We do not run a 9-5 shop.  Unless your specific need is something we don not have in stock at that moment,  we should be able to take care of your equipment promptly and help you minimize your down time.  In other words, with a little advanced notice we should be able to deal with almost any of you glass needs as your timing permits.
